New S’Mores Oreos Are Real, And They’re Coming Soon

The rumors are true! "S'moreos" are definitely a real thing and will be coming to a grocery store shelf near you sooner than you may think.

After much speculation, the limited-edition graham cracker cookie and chocolate-marshmallow creme filled dessert will hit shelves nationwide on May 22, combining two of America's favorite treats—Oreos and S'mores.

While this flavor looks like it would be instant deliciousness, the folks over at Huffington Post claim that they taste like every other Oreo cookie flavor, while others online say they can't wait for S'moreos to make it to their hometown grocery store.

A rep for Oreo confirmed the new flavor, and also confirmed it's Memorial Day Weekend release, adding that consumers will get all the awesomeness of S'mores, without the "fuss" or the "mess" of the traditional campfire treat.

Oreo also posted the following on their official Facebook page:

While we will definitely be trying out the new S'more flavored Oreos, something tells us that nothing will beat the real thing.
