The Essence Festival is gearing up for another three nights in New Orleans and now, the lineup has been revealed.

Snoop Dogg will be joining Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Erykah Badu and Jill Scott as headliners for the three-day event. Along with Snoop, The Roots will specially curate more guests to headline the event.

Other performances for the event include DVSN, Miguel, Wreckx-N-Effect, Blackstreet, Guy, Daniel Caesar and more. Essence Festival 2018 takes place on July 5 through July 8 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Ticket packages for the festival are on sale now.

While you can expect Snoop to play his classic hits, the West Coast legend may have some new music in store for fans. Snoop is gearing up to try his hand at gospel music and will drop Snoop Dogg Presents the Bible of Love later this year.

The rapper previously confirmed the project during an interview in May, saying, "I'm working on a gospel album." Snoop added, “It’s always been on my heart. I just never got around to it because I always be doing gangsta business or doing this or doing that," he added. "I just felt like it’s been on my heart too long. I need to do it now.”

The change in sound comes after Snoop dropped the reggae-inspired Reincarnated album and funk-infused Bush project.

Along with his appearance at the 2018 Essence Festival, Snoop will also perform at the upcoming Super Bowl Gospel Celebration on Feb. 1 with Faith Evans, The Clark Sister, Tye Tribbett and Rance Allen.
