Snoop Dogg will be getting his civic duty hustle on later this month when he headlines a "unity party" for the Democratic National Convention. His performance will take place on July 28 at Philadelphia's Electric Factory, with rock band Los Lobos sharing the bill with the rap icon. The event will be co-hosted by the super PACs Priorities USA, the Senate Majority PAC and the House Majority PAC. And if you need a refresher on what super PACs are, 2 Chainz and The Nightly Show are here to help.

Snoop has publicly voiced his support for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in the past, when, in May 2015 he appeared on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, saying, "I’ll say that I would love to see a woman in office because I feel like we’re at that stage in life to where we need a perspective other than the male’s train of thought. And just to have a woman speaking from a global perspective as far as representing America, I’d love to see that. So I’ll be voting for Ms. Clinton."

This past February, J. Cole performed at a Democratic fundraiser in Austin, Texas, where President Barack Obama himself was a special guest. Below, check other rapper's who have thrown their support behind Hilary. It seems fair to guess that this won't be a typical Snoop show in multiple regards, but it will likely be a can't-miss experience nonetheless.
