Snoop Dogg Shooting Reenactment Leaves Bystanders Fleeing in Terror

People at Tarzana Park in San Fernando Valley, Calif. got quite a scare when gun shots started to ring out in the park only to later learn that the gunfire was part of the filming of a reenactment of the fatal shooting that involved Snoop Dogg from back in 1993.

According to TMZ, the incident occurred last week. It was all part of the upcoming docuseries Rich and Acquitted which shows the true stories of wealthy people who have gotten acquitted of serious crimes. The only problem is, it appears not everyone in the area was notified. When the guns started bussing, cats started getting low (no Flo Rida).

Apparently this isn't a completely isolated incident. TMZ reports the same thing happening in Las Vegas on the strip during filming of 2Pac's biopic All Eyez On Me.

Back in August of 1993, before Snoop Dogg's debut album Doggystyle was released, the rapper and his bodyguard, McKinley Lee, were arrested and charged with the murder of rival gang member Phillip Woldermariam. Lee was the shooter while Snoop was driving the car when the shooting popped off. Both men obtained legal representation from famed lawyer Johnnie Cochran and were later acquitted on the grounds of self-defense.

Rich and Acquitted will air via Reelz in September and will also feature the infamous celebrity court cases of Robert Blake, Oscar Pistorius, O.J. Simpson, R. Kelly and Michael Jackson.
