Soul Express Takes Over Downtown Lafayette With A “Second Line” Style Show [VIDEO]

On any average Sunday night, Downtown Lafayette is usually quiet and recovering from the partying over the weekend. However, with Mardi Gras weekend upon us, Jefferson Street had no chance to rest this past Sunday night. The Greenroom in downtown Lafayette hosted it's annual masquerade ball and this year the brass band Soul Express took to the streets of the entertainment district.The band started their performance in the bar, but quickly took the party out onto Jefferson St. Yes, the party overflowed out onto the street and a "Second Line" style party quickly ensued.
