Soulja Boy just signed some sort of blockbuster deal for close to half a billion dollars.

The Atlanta rapper revealed his come up on Instagram. Posting a picture of himself with a handful of cash, he captioned the pic. "From being worth 25 million at 25 to being offered 400million and closing out the deal? Just think about where I came from no man seriously!"

Not wanting his Twitter followers to miss out on the big news he also took to the tweets and posted, "$400 million deal confirmed. I still they think they low balled me though. I was thinking 2 or 3 billion."

Unfortunately, SB didn't give any additional details on how he cashed out which is kinda strange. With a situation involving that many Ms you would think he would be revealing the deal on the cover of Forbes, not Instagram. But we digress.

The "Crank Dat" rapper hasn't dropped a major label LP since 2010's The DeAndre Way. However, Soulja has been keeping his name relevant on the mixtape scene having dropped over 40 EPs, mixtapes and indie albums in that same time span. He has also appeared on the popular VH1 series Love & Hip Hop.

In late December, Soulja had some of his face tattoos removed, so maybe that was a tactic to shape up to a more corporate image for this impending deal. We are sure the whole story will come out sooner or later.

XXL has reached out to Soulja Boy's camp about the situation. Check back for more details.
