More than ten college prospects had failed drug tests at the February NFL combine.

ESPN's NFL Insider Adam Schefter says a source confirmed to him that Mettenberger submitted a diluted urine sample, which is considered to be a failed drug test.

Former LSU defensive tackle Anthony Johnson was also reported to be on the list, according to FOX Sports.

According to ProFootballTalk.com, Mettenberger's physical therapist explained the quarterback is drinking more than a gallon of water a day to combat dehydration.

Mettenberger's agent, Joe Linta, said medical documentation for Mettenberger's condition was provided to the league's adviser for drugs of abuse and alcohol. Linta told Schefter he is still awaiting a response.
