If you're in South Louisiana and you're having trouble with your Sprint cellular service, you are not alone. Many of you have been complaining about having no service what-so-ever for nearly a day now, and you may be without service for a few more days.

Sprint told our media partner, KATC-TV 3, that they are aware of the problem and that they are working on resolving the issue. According to the report, Sprint says that one of their towers in the Baton Rouge area is down and that is what is causing the inconvenience for so many in our area.

Sprints says they hope to have the service re-stored to it's customers later today, Tuesday, but it may not be until July 3rd until they get their tower operating again. We'll keep you updated on this story as soon as Sprint releases more information on this issue.
