State Police Search For Driver Of Chysler 300

Louisiana State Police Troop I Spokesman Brooks David says they are looking for the person who was driving a Chrysler 300 earlier today as they believe that driver drove over a motorcycle driver.

A Nissan was trying to pass up the Chrysler on Highway 96, when the Nissan hit the motorcycle head-on.  The driver ended up in the road after being thrown from the motorcycle.

Trooper David says the Chrysler didn't stop after the crash with the Nissan, and they believe the driver ran over the motorcyclist's body while driving off.

The search continues for a gray Chrysler 300.

That area of Highway 96 is still closed at this time.
