Governor John Bel Edwards, along with the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, is asking Louisiana citizens to participate in a statewide donation drive to help our fellow American citizens in Puerto Rico after the devastation of Hurricane Maria.

Collection of items will be held through October 11 in all 64 parishes. The items most needed are below, and it is important to note that these are the only items that should be donated at this time.

  • Diapers
  • Non Perishable Formula
  • Baby Wipes
  • Bottles and Nipples
  • Feminine Care Products

The Louisiana Army National Guard will handle collecting the donated items and transporting them to Puerto Rico.

Here is a list of donation drop off points in each parish.
