Fetty Wap was connected to a shooting that took place at a 24-hour deli in his hometown of South Paterson, N.J. over the weekend. TMZ reported Sunday (March 26) that the star had his signature 1738 chain snatched and the conflict ended in gunfire. Now, a man connected to the robbery and shooting has been arrested by New Jersey officials.

According to TMZ, Paterson Police have arrested Raheem Thomas, also known by the rap name Fuzz. Fuzz is a known rival of the platinum-selling "Trap Queen" rapper. Thomas released a Fetty Wap and RGF diss track called "Got Em Remix" earlier this year and actually posted a pic of himself wearing the stolen jewelry online over the weekend. In the now-deleted Instagram post, Thomas claimed that though he didn't personally take the chain, he had no problem getting a pic with it on.

"How he got his chain taken I don't know and I don't care. That's none of my business," captioned Thomas. "I will love to take credit for it but unfortunately, my Instagram is no liar."

The late night shooting went down around 5 a.m. Sunday morning when cops were dispatched to Montclair Ave and Paxton Street in Paterson. Two men were injured in the melee—one shot in the leg and another in the torso—but the wounds are not life-threatening. Paterson Deputy Police Chief Troy Oswald confirmed later that day that Zoovier and his friends were involved in the shooting, but didn't disclose the specifics of the incident.

As of today, Thomas is not charged with robbery of the chain but is being charged with unlawful possession of a weapon. Thomas is being held without bail in Passaic County Jail.
