It looks like T.I. and Kevin Hart are collaborating once again. According to Deadline, the two are developing a new "music-themed office comedy" for Showtime. The series will be called The Studio.

The new show, which is being written by Everybody Hates Chris scribe Aeysha Carr, will explore the day-to-day work lives of folks who make a living in the recording studio. Tip and Hart, who appeared together in 2015's Get Hard, are executive-producing the series and are expected to make occasional special guest appearances at different points of the new series. Sounds dope.

This news arrives just a few days after the series finale of Tip's T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle, so it's definitely a comforting bit for fans of the Atlanta rapper. The fact that he's linking with Hart is also good to hear.

Tip and Hart were hilarious together whenever they crossed the screen in Get Hard. In the film, which chronicles one millionaire's journey to prepare himself for the brutality of prison life, Tip plays Kevin Hart's character's gangster cousin. Although Tip's the more hardened character, he has more than a few bursts of humor to match Hart's awesome comedic timing.

There's no telling how well Tip and Hart's onscreen chemistry will translate to actually producing something, but it sounds promising so far. A premiere date for the show has yet to be announced.
