T.I. has run into legal trouble once again. After reaching a $78,000 settlement in February with a group of ex-employees from his failed Scales 925 restaurant in Atlanta, the rapper is being sued for fraud by the same group of people.

The artist is accused of fraudulently transferring $40,000 to himself and business partners, instead of paying off the settlement he owes to the former employees of Scales 925, The Blast reported on Monday (Aug. 6).

In court documents obtained by the site, the new lawsuit claims T.I. settled a $40,000 lawsuit with a business partner and hid the payment from his creditors, keeping the money for himself.

The former employees say T.I. only paid them a portion of what they were owed and believe they're entitled to the $40,000 he received. The rapper has yet to respond to the latest lawsuit.

Opened in 2015, T.I.'s Scales 925 shut down a year later after running into a number of issues, including NBA player Glen Rice Jr. being shot in the leg at the eatery in 2015. Scales 925 was also hit with an eviction notice for owing over $1 million in back rent.

XXL has reached out to T.I.'s team for a comment on the lawsuit.
