T.I. and Tiny File for Leave of Absence Bringing Divorce Proceedings to a Halt

Since tying the knot in 2010, T.I. and Tameka "Tiny" Harris have enjoyed a fruitful but rocky relationship, much of which has played out in front of us on reality television. After hitting the Atlanta rapper with divorce filings in 2016, Tiny could be having second thoughts, as her lawyers have requested a second leave of absence for the case, according to Bossip. 

With no end in sight for the case, Tip and the former Xscape singer could be in the process of repairing their relationship in favor of raising six children. Tiny was reportedly at their home when police arrived to arrest the Hustle Gang CEO there for misdemeanor simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness right outside his gated community.

Things looked bleak when Tiny cited irreconcilable differences regarding her divorce with Tip. She previously filed a leave of absence on April 2 and another just last week to delay the proceedings. Their relationship must have made some strides towards reparation as no court action has been taken for the past few months.

T.I. could use his lady by his side as he's stayed busy recently. In addition to connecting with Kanye West for "Ye Vs. The People" in April (April 27), the 37-year-old has been an integral social justice advocate as a voice for the common people. T.I. is calling for the boycott of Atlanta chain restaurant Houston's after a security guard got into an altercation with three actresses for using the restaurant's bathroom after-hours, leading to one being dragged off the premises battered and bruised.
