Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns announced their 2011 football schedule today.  The Cajuns 12-game slate features five games against teams that appeared in bowl games in 2010, including a rematch of last season’s thrilling ESPN2 game against Oklahoma State.

Congratulations to the UL Ragin Cajun Basketball team on winning 10 Straight! Over 8,000 Cajun fans packed the Cajundome last night and cheered the Cajuns onto victory. The Cajuns will be playing their final game Saturday in Monroe against ULM. You can catch the action right here on Hot 1079 with pregame beginning at 5:30 and tipoff at 6pm. Go Cajuns!!

The Universtiy of Louisiana at Lafayette is celebrating Black History Month with their 6th Annual Kick Off Event tonight at 6:00 in the Student Ballroom.

This week marks the beginning of the "Hudspeth Era" at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. The Ragin Cajuns have welcomed the former Mississippi State Passing Coordinator with open arms and hopes for a new standard when it comes to their football program.
