Yesterday evening, Chris Reed & I joined the city of Lafayette in welcoming home our Boys of Summer, after representing our city, state and country at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.

It's everyone's dream when you attend a baseball game to catch a foul ball or home run!!! But for one fan, that dream came way too close when the ball made contact with her face. See what happened when one fan missed the catch, and the ball ricocheted off his hands, and onto the face of a fan below.

If ever you have had a foul ball or home run ball heading your way, you know of the amount of excitement that comes with that vision. Often, those in the crowd will drop everything or anything just for that rare chance of catching a ball while in attendance.

One of the most surreal moments of George W. Bush's presidency happened when a Iraqi reporter threw a shoe at him during a press conference. Love him or hate him, we can all agree that Bush showed excellent reflexes when he dodged the shoe, which was headed straight for his face.
