As college students all over the country prepare to return to the campus in the weeks/days ahead, one incoming freshman at Ball State University will not have to worry about his tuition fees for this upcoming semester.  Markus Burden, from Frankfort, Illinois hit a half court shot at Ball State University's "Welcome Event" to win $11,000 free tuition for the semester!!

An entire girls high school basketball team drank from a contaminated water cooler last month and it has been revealed that their rival contaminated the cooler with urine. The girls from Monett High School in Missouri reportedly drank the water, spiked with urine, and are currently undergoing tests to determine if they are at risk of becoming ill due to the contamination.

During the NCAA Men's Basketball Final Four coverage in New Orleans, former Indiana Men's Basketball Coach, Bob Knight, fell asleep while on the set of ESPN. Knight who is now an analyst on ESPN had trouble staying awake while the panel were discussing an upcoming game in the Final Four.
