Adele’s smoking habit is well-publicized, and she had to give it up, begrudgingly, to save her voice. Now, Mars is the latest pop star to be photographed smoking, which should be a no-no, considering the havoc it can wreak on the vocal cords. Tsk, tsk.

While intelligence isn’t a prerequisite for a life of crime, it certainly would’ve helped these ten boneheaded scofflaws. One clumsy bank robber shoots himself in the foot, a thief can’t figure out how to operate a door as a means of escape and another gets hopelessly stuck while trying to break into a store. If criminals keep being this dumb, us law-abiding citizens have nothing to worry about.

An Indonesian member of parliament was caught downloading an X-rated video from the Internet. Mr. Arifinto hastily resigned after his screen was photographed during a parliamentary session. He'd previously spearheaded Indonesia's 2008 anti-porn bill.
