'Watch The Throne' Still Not Platinum Yet

After great first week sales of ‘Watch the Throne,’ Jay Z and Kanye still have not hit the platinum mark. The disc was released on August 12 and sold an additional 35,000 copies this week, bringing the total to 871,000. ‘Watch the Throne’ currently sits at number 9 on the Billboard 200 chart.

It’s been 10 years since Ludacris dropped a mixtape, but for fans seeking a new dose of street sounds from the multiplatinum rapper, the wait is almost over.

During a recent interview, Luda revealed the upcoming release of ’1.21 Gigawatts,’ explaining the title by saying “Gigawatts, that equals to a billion watts and so we basically taking it out of control. This whole thing is something you’re going to pump louder than anything you’ve ever heard in your life, basically. It’s definitely for the streets.”

As I have done in previous weeks, I often resort to digging through the archvies, yet this week I have selected some brand new tracks to jam to when the radio is off in my vehicle. Recently, someone asked me, with all the music I have what do I listen to? And while that is a GREAT question, a "light bulb" went off in my head as he asked me that.
