For decades college football fans have been screaming for a playoff system when it comes to crowning an NCAA National Champion. Well it appears that the dream of a playoff system has become reality. A committee of university presidents on Tuesday approved the BCS commissioners' plan for a four-team playoff to start in the 2014 season.

ESPN First Take is one of my favorite television programs and I knew that this mornings episode would be epic following the Miami Heat winning the NBA Championship last night and LeBron James FINALLY getting his first ring. DJ Steve Porter is known for his chopped up auto-tune video skills and he left no stone unturned creating this amazing song based off of one of Stephen A. Smith's signature lines when defending LeBron James during his famed arguments with the ever-so-LeBron-hating ESPN analyst Skip Bayless.

What is it with reality talent competition judges botching the national anthem? ‘The Voice‘ coach Christina Aguilera bungled the song at the Super Bowl last February, and now, Aerosmith frontman and ‘American Idol‘ judge Steven Tyler is being crucified for his poor version of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner,’ which he sang this afternoon (Jan. 22) before the AFC championship game between the New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens. The Pats actually won the game, so Tyler’s inept version wasn’t a curse or bad luck.
