An updated affidavit of arrest containing investigative details in Brandon Scott Lavergne's 1999 aggravated burglary/aggravated oral sexual battery case has been posted on Scribd. Lavergne is currently being held on charges of aggravated kidnapping and first-degree murder in connection with the disappearance of Mickey Shunick, the 22-year-old UL student from Lafayette that has been missing since May 19, 2012.

Last time I heard of criminals smuggling drugs, I thought stuffing them in socks was still in style. According to msnbc, a South Carolina woman tried to sneak in 'The Good Stuff' with a BIBLE! It wasn't anything too serious though, just the normal like: a cell phone...........plus knives, a couple of little white pills called ecstasy, and 28 grams of cocaine.
