Located just of Johnston St. this amazing restaurant has been a staple in Lafayette for close to 40 years now. I had the pleasure of being served by Ronnie, one of the best in the biz, who has been at La Fonda almost as long as their doors have been open.

Cafe Habana City not only has great food and amazing service, but the killer summer atmosphere is also a plus. My first dine-around this year for the 2012 Eat Lafayette campaign was at Rachael's Cafe on Republic Ave. Located right next to Bob's Pub off Kaliste Saloom the restaurant was right in the middle of everything, but ducked off just enough for it to be the perfect hideaway for a great meal.
