All I can say is that Poupart Bakery is a hidden gem. From the moment you get out of your car on 1902 West Pinhook Rd. in Lafayette, you can smell the sweetness of the pastries. Poupart has been around since 1967, and are the only authentic French bakery in Acadiana.

This was my first time eating at Country Cuisine, and coincidentally, it just happened to be their 27th anniversary. I can tell you this much, I see why they have been in business for that long. They have some of the best BBQ I've ever had. For all you weekend warriors, they're open every Friday and Saturday night till 3am.

You won't find any frozen seafood at Guidry's Reef. I had never been there before and couldn't wait to try everything they had to offer.
