Flo Rida‘s dance-pop hit ‘Whistle’ is the No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week. The Miami rapper dethroned Carly Rae Jepsen‘s nine-week reign at the top with her summertime jam ‘Call Me Maybe.’

A patriotic, blinged-out Flo Rida took the stage this morning as part of the ‘TODAY’ show’s summer concert series to promote his new album ‘Wild Ones’ and its first three singles.

After helping Jennifer Lopez get it poppin’ on her new single, ‘Goin’ In,’ Miami rapper Flo Rida gets a taste of J.Lo’s sweetness on the melodic club tune ‘Sweet Spot.’ The song appears on Flo’s upcoming album ‘Wild Ones,’ due out July 3.

Three of the most versatile rappers in the music game have teamed up for a summer jaunt. Chart-topping artists B.o.B., Cee Lo Green and Flo Rida will hit the road on the “R You on the List” tour next month.

'Wild Ones' is a huge song on Hot 1079, and I dare to say it could be the song of the summer! FloRida had great success with his first single 'Good Feeling,' and it's continuing with 'Wild Ones.' Early this morning Flo Rida was arrested and charged with DUI. According to TMZ, early this morning Flo Rida (real name Tramar Dillard) got behind the wheel after attending a birthday party for a friend at a Miami nightclub. Police say Flo Rida was allegedly 2 times over the legal limit when he got behind his Bugatti.
