Tropical Storm Debby has dumped several inches of rain along the Florida gulf coast, and with that has come a very interesting photo. This photo has gone viral on Twitter and Facebook as it shows what appears to be A SHARK in THE MIDDLE OF A ROADWAY!!!
Since we reported on the viral screenshot of the woman who claimed she was "happy" for the Acadiana area flooding via her Facebook page, we thought it was only fair to also report that she has since apologized for her remarks, which as you will read below, weren't intended to hurt anyone.
With the widespread water damage and property loss that took place in Acadiana yesterday, it’s hard to believe that anyone that anyone could possibly be ‘happy’ about this, or ‘not feel sorry’ for those who were affected
Flood waters have wreaked havoc upon residents of Carencro, Arnaudville, Church Point and many other areas around Acadiana. We have dedicated a live blog to road closures and information surrounding all the Acadiana flooding, but along with "not driving down flooded roads to avoid sending more water into already flooded homes" and "turning off breakers to avoid electrocution in a flooding situation,"Jonathon Brunet from Carencro has another piece of advice.
First it was the hundreds of gators that had allegedly collected in a waterway in Butte La Rose. Then, it was the INSANELY huge 'Morganza Snake' that had slithered out of hiding to strike fear into the hearts of Acadiana Facebook users. Well, it turns out that video of the gators was actually from a rare feeding frenzy caught on tape a year ago in Georgia, and the 'Morganza Snake' was really a King Brown snake, the second longest species of snake in Australia, where the picture was actually taken.
