While gas prices may be coming in a little bit after a four-month surge, they still stand at almost four dollars a gallon. According to a new survey from Harris Interactive of 2,451 adults, these unprecedentedly high prices are causing Americans to change their overall spending habits.

A gas station in Texas had a computer glitch and customers were NOT complaining. The reason many of it's customers weren't complaining is because they were getting away with gas for just $1.01 PER GALLON!! Yes, we have not seen gas prices like this in decades, yet customers at a gas station in Pasadena, Texas got the break of a lifetime!!!

As many of us prep for the upcoming summer months, we also prep to pay higher gas prices at the pump. Yet, as we have seen in the past, gas prices take a spike, and then begin to decline. However, how and why do we year-in and year-out see gas prices go up and then down?
