The White House has announced that President Barack Obama will visit South Louisiana Monday to examine water and wind damage in the wake of Isaac. His opponent in the upcoming Presidential election, Rep. Mitt Romney, announced earlier today that he too will be stopping in Louisiana to assess the damage Isaac has left behind.

Hurricane Isaac Forces Changes To Area High School Football Schedule

Aside from picking up branches and raking leaves in the aftermath of Hurricane Isacc, many schools were forced to reschedule their first week of high school football games. Many of the games in Acadiana were rescheduled in anticipation of Isaac causing more school closures as we drew closer to the end of the week.
