The season premiere of 'Saturday Night Live' kicked off with a bang, featuring musical guests Frank Ocean and John Mayer. The chemistry between the performers is palpable and a lot of fun to watch, and they brought an intensity to the otherwise lighthearted show -- but still didn't take themselves too seriously.

When Frank Ocean graces the stage on the season premiere of 'Saturday Night Live' this Saturday (Sept. 15), he will have special guest with him -- singer-guitarist John Mayer. The Odd Future crooner announced the news on his Twitter feed today (Sept. 11). "SNL this weekend. Me and the bro John Mayer," he wrote.

John Mayer once referred to his ex Taylor Swift writing about their relationship and their split in a song as “cheap songwriting” but we’re going to call his method of dumping Katy Perry (after a very short and public romance) a cheap move. Mayer reportedly broke up with the ‘Wide Awake’ singer via email.
