October 5, 2011 When it comes to music artists I put Lady Gaga in a special category. The 'Love/Hate' category. You either love her or you hate her. Other artists in that category are Michael Jackson, Kanye West, Justin Bieber etc. You get the point.
When you’re as successful as Kanye West, you can make a lot of things true simply by saying them out loud. Luckily for Black Eyed Peas fans, not even Kanye can cause a band’s breakup by announcing it.
West caused a stir by telling the audience at his show last Friday that the BEP were no more, but according to the group’s frontman, will.i.am, the rumors of their demise have been greatly exaggerated.
After great first week sales of 'Watch the Throne,' Jay Z and Kanye still have not hit the platinum mark. The disc was released on August 12 and sold an additional 35,000 copies this week, bringing the total to 871,000. 'Watch the Throne' currently sits at number 9 on the Billboard 200 chart.
