Rapper Lil Boosie - real name Torence Hatch - has been found not guilty in the case of the murder of Terry Boyd. WAFB reported that the jury deliberated for about an hour and a half before reaching a final verdict of not guilty late this afternoon. Their decision came after six days of hearing witness testimony and arguments from both the prosecution and the defense.
Lil Boosie has been behind bars since June of 2010, awaiting trial for a murder charge. To add to his problems, earlier today (November 29), the Baton Rouge, LA rapper (real name Torrence Hatch) pleaded guilty to three counts of conspiring to smuggle drugs into prison and was sentenced to eight years in jail.
