Russian Kids Find Lion Cub, Naturally Bring It to School

Here in the United States, a kid might spot a turtle during their walk to school. And if he or she is the curious sort, they might pick it up and bring it in for show-and-tell.

Things are little different in Russia, where apparently lions roam free. School children in a Southern Russian village ran into one of these beasts -- a cub -- and brought the furball in to their teacher.

Several Exotic Animals Are Shot & Killed After They Escape An Ohio Farm

It is one of the most appalling photos in recent time. Several exotic animals that escaped a farm outside Zanesville, Ohio were shot after local authorities cited that the animals posed an immediate danger to the community. The animals were released from a farm by their suicidial owner, and of the 56 animals released Tuesday night, only a grizzly bear, two monkeys and three leopards were taken alive.
