At least one month of the NBA season has been canceled, while the players and owners remain deadlocked in their labor negotiations. Unfortunately for both sides, no one seems to care that the NBA season hasn’t gotten underway.

Most folks don't know that before emerging as an NBA superstar, LeBron James was one of Ohio's most talented high school football players. With a lockout looming over the NBA and the 2011 season in jeopardy LeBron James has turned his attention to the NFL.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell made it quite clear this week that as the NFL Lockout drags out, it is getting closer and closer to having to cancel the first NFL Pre-Season game. The commissioner told NFL owners that while he doesn't have a date circled on the calendar to begin canceling games, he knows that the time is coming soon for a decision.

While the NFL Lockout continues, all of the players in the league have elected to stay busy in different ways. Some of the players are in training with teammates, others are taking part in other competitive sports, and then there is David Bruton from the Denver Broncos. Bruton has elected to take on a part-time job that pays $90 per day while he sits out the lockout.

So the big news today has had a lot of people feeling a sense of relief. A judge has ordered the end of the NFL lockout, giving the players an early victory in their battle with the owners over how to split the money in the $9 billion business...
