The fire, set off by pyrotechnics broke out near a lighting truss as Rihanna was finishing “California King Bed.” The production crew extinguished the fire, but the show was canceled anyway. About 12,500 people were in the audience. An American Airlines Center spokeswoman said an evacuation was orderly and no injuries were reported.
