The Combating Terrorism Center at West Point will release some of the 6,000 documents that were seized in last year’s raid of Osama bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, resulting in his death one year ago Wednesday. This is the first time the general public will have access to the al Qaeda leader’s papers.

Many of us were introduced to a very elite team in recent hours. As we learned of the death of Osama Bin Laden, we also learned more about the team that is credited for his death. The team is part of the United States Navy Seals, and is often referred to as "Team 6."

In a stunning development, President Barack Obama confirmed late Sunday evening that Osama bin Laden, the leader of terrorist group Al-Qaeda responsible for the Sept. 11 attacks, was killed Sunday in Pakistan. Obama made the announcement in a televised address shortly after 11:30 PM ET, about an hour after reports of bin Laden's death had made their way onto the Internet.
