Mother Nature got fired up a round 4:00am this morning with some serious rain, winds and hail all across Acadiana. We sure hope you and your family are safe. Not sure how this will all shake out, because it looks like rain for the rest of our Sunday. Below is a list of road closures and sandbag information we have at this time.

DOTD apologizes for any inconvenience the necessary may cause today.

A portion of St. John Street in Downtown Lafayette will be closed for repairs.

The Louisiana DOTD has announced that the east bound right lane of I-10, between mile marker 126 and 127 on the basin bridge,

A Flood WARNING has been issued for Iberia, St. Mary, eastern Vermilion, southern St. Martin and southeastern Lafayette parishes. Because of that, road closures are beginning to pop up across Acadiana.

Effective immediately, the following road closure are in place. The roads will be reopened as soon as conditions improve.

BATON ROUGE (May 13, 2011) - Louisiana officials advise citizens to expect road closings and other impacts when the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers opens the Morganza Spillway during the next 24 hours.
