Cafe Habana City not only has great food and amazing service, but the killer summer atmosphere is also a plus. My first dine-around this year for the 2012 Eat Lafayette campaign was at Rachael's Cafe on Republic Ave. Located right next to Bob's Pub off Kaliste Saloom the restaurant was right in the middle of everything, but ducked off just enough for it to be the perfect hideaway for a great meal.

A group of Mexican workers have walked out of their job in Breaux Bridge and have accused their employer of forcing them to work 24-hour shifts without overtime pay. The guests have filed a complaint with the U.S. Labor Department claiming the business abused them and took advantage of them while hand-picking crawfish at the seafood plant.
