With so many students bringing cell phones on to campuses, it seems to becoming more and more of a distraction. Not to mention, some students have resorted to using the cell phones to "cheat" on exams. With all of that said,  is it ok for a teacher to go thru a student's cell phone once they confiscate it? In my personal opinion, cell phones should NOT even be allowed on campus, but if they are confiscated, teachers should NOT have the right to go thru them. I would love know what you think.
