Team Mascot Shatters Backboard During Halftime Dunk [VIDEO]

We have seen it many times during the halftime festivities or during timeouts at basketball games, the team's mascot takes the court and displays it's leaping abilities, with the assistance of a trampoline, and slam dunks the ball.

While the Indiana Pacers were out on the road their yellow fluffy mascot, Boomer, stopped by New Palestine (Ind.) High School and showed-off his skills...The only problem is, Boomer may have had a bit too much strength in his latest dunk!!

Watch as Boomer brings down not only 'the house" during his latest dunk, but in the process brings down the  entire backboard as well.  Fortunately for the teams, the game was moved into an auxiliary gym because the school did not have a replacement backboard on site.
