Teen Arrested Helps Save Life of Police Officer [VIDEO]

A teenager waiting to be booked into jail is being considered a hero by police officers after he alerted other officers that the booking officer was having a heart attack. The incident happened in Fort Lauderdale, FL. back in September, but now officers are crediting the young teen for saving the life of an officer. As you can see on the surveillance video, when the officer falls to the ground, the teen gets up out of his chair and begins to kick a door to alert other officers.

The fallen officer was taken to a nearby hospital where he survived the heart attack. Doctors say the quick actions by this teen saved the life of the officer.

Sometimes you never know why you're in the situation you're in, but this teen was actually in the right place, at the right time. Great story.
