The 2013 Boudin Cook-Off Set To Return To Downtown Lafayette In October

The 2013 Boudin Cook-Off will be returning to downtown Lafayette, at Parc Sans Souci, on Saturday October 19th. The free cook-off is open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Those who attend will be able to sample boudin bites from various local venders. There will be several teams there with their own boudin on display in the park for this event, and many will travel from all parts of South Louisiana to take part in this great event.

I have attended this event several times, and if you are "boudin lover," this event is for you. And while I'm at it, I am proud to announce that "T-Boys" from Mamou has been part of this event since its inaugural year. Being from Mamou, I grew up eating their boudin and I strongly advise all of you to give it a try!!!
