Remember when M.I.A. performed at the Super Bowl with Madonna in 2012? Well, during the performance, M.I.A. flipped off the camera and continued on with her performance. Now, the NFL is suing the performer for her actions during the halftime show.

A month after this incident, the league filed a lawsuit against M.I.A claiming she violated their contact. Now, the NFL is suing the performer for $1.5 Million long after the incident occurred. Supposedly, she signed a deal with the NFL, where she agreed to, "ensure that all elements of her performance, including her wardrobe, shall be consistent with the NFL's goodwill and reputation for wholesomeness."
