The Story Behind This Viral Photo From Port Allen

This photo, which was taken by Ashley Frantz of Frantz Photography, has gone viral for more than one reason.

The bride, Amanda, is seen in this photo with what appears to be a little girl. The little girl is Azalee, Amanda's daughter. Sadly, Azalee passed away in 2013 at the age of six-years-old. She never saw her mommy get married.

That's where Ashley Frantz comes into the story. Ashley is the owner of "Frantz Photography" and she took Amanda's bridal photos. Amanda requested that Ashley transcribe Azalee in the photos, and here's the end result.

While Azalee may not have physically been present at her mom's wedding, she was there in spirit. During the wedding ceremony, Amanda and her husband released butterflies in remembrance of little Azalee. Well, as butterflies flew off into the distance, one stayed behind and it would not leave from the shoulder of Amanda.
