Congrats to Kanye West and Jay-Z! The Throne reigns supreme, taking home the Best Group trophy at the 2012 BET Awards. The all-white clad West, who had just finished a performance with G.O.O.D. Music, took on the acceptance speech role — at first. “I’m bad at losing, I’m bad at winning,” the oft-arrogant (but usually deservedly) rapper said sheepishly. “I always say the wrong thing. I wish Jay-Z was here to say something politically correct.”

As they often do when you’re one half of the Throne, West’s wish came true. Hov, donning a sharp grey suit, rushed the stage and hugged his pal, delivering the other half of the acceptance speech — and, ironically, saying something pretty politically incorrect, perhaps making up for West’s atypical amount of tact.

“We really worked really hard on this album,” Jay-Z said. “We didn’t take anything for granted, we didn’t rely on our name … we appreciate everybody,” he added. “We appreciate the tour, going from here to Europe to bring you all that good s— … er, that good stuff!” Minus one for the censors, who weren’t quite quick enough to catch the S-bomb when S. Carter dropped it.

West was a much better sport than he’s usually given credit for, giving props to his competition. “A shout out to Maybach Music and Young Money for making this a good competition!”

Yeezy being humble?! That s— cray.
