I totally forgot that American Idol had co-hosts for the first season, Ryan Seacrest and Bryan Dunkleman. I also forgot what the judges looked like as Idol debuted. However, I do recall that it was Kelly Clarkson who was crowned the First American Idol on FOX!!! Boy how things have changed on that show....

I'm not really sure how I recall this one, but do you remember when Michael Jackson's hair caught fire? He was on-stage filming a Pepsi commercial when the accident happened. After this accident, Jackson said he was "scared" for life, thus he blamed this incident for some of the plastic surgery he went under.

How did I ever forget what happened during Super Bowl XXVIII?????? The game and halftime show was aired on CBS, and a particular incident during the halftime show cost CBS and it's affiliates MILLIONS of dollars in fines from the the FCC. At the end of the performance, Justin Timberlake tore off a piece of Janet Jackson's wardrobe, and exposed one of Janet's breast on National Television. This incident would not only call for much more conservative halftime shows afterwards by the league, it also became the foundation for much stricter rules which were levied down upon television and radio stations. This "wardrobe malfunction" will forever be remembered by those who were tuned in for the show/game.

For those of us who grew-up in the late 80s and early 90s, we grew-up watching "Double Dare" on Nickelodeon. However, I forgot how it cool it must have been to run the obstacle course on the game show. I recall always wanting to do it, and to be the one to have to jump into the tank!!!! Great Show!!!!
