Tory Lanez Thinks Lil Wayne Will Die as Best Rapper of His Era

Tory Lanez has high praise for Weezy. The Canadian crooner tweeted yesterday (Jan. 19) that Lil Wayne will die the best rapper of his time and era.

"LIL WAYNE WILL DIE THE BEST RAPPER OF HIS TIME and ERA," Tory tweeted. "Niggas gotta stop the bullshit and give the man his credit."

Tunechi is undoubtedly one of hip-hop's most prolific rappers, as the New Orleans MC has put out tons of solid albums, mixtapes, features, singles and the like. Shout-out to Tory for paying homage to one of the game's greats. Wayne has yet to respond to Tory's tweet, but maybe the two will end up collaborating in the near future.

In other Tory Lanez-related news, the Toronto artist recently appeared on Fabolous and Jadakiss' new collaboration "Rapture," which is slated to appear on Loso and Kiss' joint project Freddy Vs. Jason.

Prior to that, Tory released two new solo mixtapes, The New Toronto 2 and Chixtape 4. The New Toronto 2 is a 13-track body of work with features from Rick Ross and A$AP Ferg. Meanwhile, Chixtape 4 is full of beats from the early 2000s and contains 12 tracks with features from Jacquees and Nyce.
