Troopers have arrested a man they say is the person responsible for killing a woman from Moss Bluff during a hit-and-run this week.

State Police arrested 42-year-old Trevino Clark. The Lake Charles man was arrested for allegedly killing the victim Monday morning during the crash.

They say they found the suspected hit-and-run car at a barn on Clark's property.

Multiple agencies were working on this case since the woman died including:

The victim, 29-year-old Samantha Broussard, was walking on the shoulder of the I-10 westbound on ramp before you get to Louisiana Highway 397, when she was run over. State Police say Clark fled.
