A Lafayette man is on the lookout for his 2014 Chevy Silverado after thieves stole it right out of his driveway early Tuesday morning.

UPDATE: The man's truck was found today (5/27) in Abbeville.

Billy Guilbeaux says his white pickup was parked outside in a neighborhood near L.O. Peck off Kaliste Saloom on Monday night. When he woke up on Tuesday morning, and walked outside with his two children he realized his truck was gone.

Luckily, a neighbor's surveillance cameras were rolling and what shocked Billy more when he rolled back the tapes was not just the fact that he was watching his truck being taken from his driveway—but just how brazen the thieves were as they stole it.

Guilbeaux says the video showed the thieves passing by around 4:00 a.m., then the same vehicle returning around 4:51 a.m.—this time to steal his truck.

A Mitsubishi Montero Sport is seen pulling into the frame, as someone jumps out and makes their way up Guilbeaux's driveway. The Montero is then seen driving away, only to return back into the frame from the opposite direction.

The Montero remains in the frame until the thieves are seen pushing Guilbeaux's truck out of his driveway and driving off with it.

Guilbeaux's white 2014 Chevy Silverado (pictured below) has tinted windows, a Roll-N-Lock bed cover with Toyo all-terrain tires.
