Trump Campaign Has Spent $4.7M With One Lafayette-Based Business So Far

Win or lose, love him or hate him, Donald Trump has been an absolute blessing to one Lafayette-based business. The Advocate.com reports that the Trump campaign has spent $4.7 million on hats and T-shirts from Ace Specialties in Lafayette.

You know the slogan "Make America Great Again"? All the hats and t-shirts you see with that slogan on them are straight out of Louisiana.

Ace founder Christl Mahfouz, a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, also serves on the board of directors for the Eric Trump Foundation, according to the Foundation’s website. Ace, which sells safety products and work gear on top of promotional materials, is even listed as an official point of contact for the Trump for President store.
