UPDATE – Surveillance Photos Released Of Suspect In Two Lafayette Convenience Stores Robberies
Two more armed robberies happened Saturday in Lafayette.
The first one happened around 2:50 p.m. at a convenience store in the 300 block of Verot School Road, while the second one happened at a convenience store in the 5700 block of Johnston Street. In both instances, the suspect, described as a black male, medium build wearing a light colored long sleeve shirt covered by a dark colored vest and wearing a black beanie Saints hat, went into the store with a light colored shirt pulled over his head, took out a handgun and demanded money from the register.
