UL’s Annual Wear Red Day Happens Friday August 30th

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette has announced their annual "Wear Red Day" and it happens this Friday, August 30th.

Students, staff, faculty, community members and local businesses, will compete for this year's Wear Red Championship by submitting pictures to UL's Wear Red Day Facebook Page. This year's "Wear Red" Champions will be recognized on Cajun Field during a presentation for the Oct. 5th game against Texas State.

Wear Red Day happens in conjunction with college colors day. This is a nationwide event where students, faculty, and fans wear the colors of their favorite University leading into the start of another college football season.
